Our Values

LaHue Counseling Services is grounded in the belief that healing begins within a compassionate, trusting relationship. We take a client-centered approach that honors each individual’s lived experience, strengths, and goals. Our practice is committed to providing a safe, supportive space where clients can openly explore challenges without fear of judgment. We value authenticity and strive to show up with honesty, respect, and genuine care in every interaction. Inclusion and self-determination are central to our work, as we empower clients to make informed choices and move toward growth in ways that align with their values and identities.

Our Mission

LaHue Counseling Services’ mission is to provide trauma-informed care to individuals of all ages, couples, and families in a supportive and respectful environment. We are committed to meeting the growing needs of our community by offering counseling services that are compassionate, accessible, and responsive. Our work centers on empowering clients through collaborative, strengths-based approaches that honor their unique experiences. We strive to foster healing, resilience, and meaningful connection by creating a space where clients feel safe, understood, and supported throughout their therapeutic journey.

Our Philosophy

LaHue Counseling Services was founded in 2018 by Joyce LaHue and her son, Robert Peacock. While our team members bring diverse backgrounds, clinical expertise, and professional experiences, we are united by a shared commitment to providing a safe, nonjudgmental, and authentic environment where clients are supported and empowered to flourish.
